Kennedy is from Sugar Land, Texas. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in chemistry from Wellesley College. While at Wellesley, Kennedy conducted astrochemistry research with Christopher Arumainayagam, investigating the role of low-energy electrons in the synthesis of prebiotic molecules in space. Kennedy joined the Thomas Group in the Summer of 2025, where she is currently working on the development of carbanion trapping reactions to synthesize amino alcohols. In her free time, Kennedy enjoys watching baseball, cooking, and getting into random shenanigans.
