Kate is from Houston, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from Hillsdale College. While there, she conducted research at MD Anderson in Houston under Dr. Madhurima Ghosh and Dr. Shike Wang. She joined the Thomas lab in the fall of 2025. In her free time she enjoys playing musical instruments.
